Marky Boy Art is the creative brand of Mark Haining, a contemporary artist based nearby Alexandria West Dunbartonshire.

He creates bold, colourful prints and unique pop-culture icon installations crafted entirely from recycled materials like drinks cans on industrial style board. 

​His background- Born in 1982, Mark started drawing early on and returned to his passion after a successful 25-year career in Horticulture and teaching. 

His style- is unshackled and vibrant, featuring fun twists on classics (like his 'Ice Scream' take on Munch's -The Scream.)

He specialises- in making recycled abstract portraits like Marilyn, Elvis, Che Guevara and Blondie from materials such as colourful drinks cans, which he collects and processes ready for recycling into creative artworks. 

His abstract artworks have captured attention from galleries and events in Glasgow, London, and NY, following on from his successful solo 'Icons' exhibition.
